September 4th, 2012

A Port Huron woman and Wales Township man are expected to face charges after the St. Clair County Drug Task Force arrested them in two separate drug busts last week.  According to a police statement, a 19-year-old Wales Township man was arrested Wednesday during a narcotic investigation in the 7900 block of Lambs Road in Wales Township.  Police seized about 70 grams of mushrooms, 11 different kinds of synthetic narcotics and numerous analog drugs. The drug bust was the result of a two-month investigation into the sales and distribution of synthetic narcotics and other mind-altering substances.  The man will face charges including possession of synthetic narcotics with intent to deliver, possession of analog drugs and maintaining a drug house.  Another  narcotic investigation took place Thursday in the 800 block of Wall Street in Port Huron. A 36-year-old Port Huron woman was arrested.  The woman will face charges of possession of crack cocaine with intent to deliver and operating a drug house.
