
Friday Crash Leaves One Dead Others Seriously Injured

A 20-year-old Port Huron woman had died from injuries sustained in a car crash that occurred last Friday night. Bethany Kellar-Whitlock was one of four passengers involved in the crash around 10:30 p.m. According to police reports, 20 year old Jacob Arnold, of St. Clair was driving the car which was headed westbound on Gratiot Avenue when it struck a pickup heading north on Wadhams Road in St. Clair Township. It is believed that Arnold disregarded a flashing red stop signal at the intersection. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor. Three other passengers in the car were seriously injured while the driver, Arnold did not sustain serious injuries. The driver of the pickup, along with one of his passengers suffered serious injuries, while one other passenger’s injuries were minor. All were taken to area hospitals. The crash remains under investigation.
