Mutt March On Sunday
October 4th, 2012

The BWAHS “Mutt March” is being held at Goodells County Park on Sunday, Oct. 7th.
The event  is being held  to raise funds to support the Humane Society.   Pets and their owners are invited to participate in a walk, for which they gather pledges for donations for the shelter. The shelter also accepts donations that day (and throughout the year)  of food, supplies, toys, and also for old towels, blankets, or anything else that may make the life of these pets a little more comfortable.   This year, there will be an Honor Guard for Logan.  Logan is the beautiful Huskie who was burned by the battery acid, and who recently died.  There is a drive to have “Logan’s Law” passed in the Mi. House to make it mandatory for anyone who has been convicted of animal abuse to register in the state of Michigan. This drive was spear headed by Matt and Nancy Falk, who were Logan’s family.  You may also contact the BWAHS for further information at 987-4357.
