The Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce  hosted its fifteenth ambassador ribbon cutting of the year this afternoon at 12:15 p.m. at Maurices in Birchwood Mall, 4350 24^th Avenue, Fort Gratiot.  Maurices’ is a new expanded store located between Deb and American Eagle.  The public is encouraged to attend, as Maurices will be offering special discounts and the opportunity to enter a drawing for a $100 shopping spree. The store’s timely re-opening comes just in time for the holiday shopping season and kicks off a long Canadian Thanksgiving weekend as well as the U.S. holiday of Columbus Day.  The new store offers a new look, more styles and accessories, and the addition of plus sizes.  For more information, visitwww.maurices.com
