The academy provides training in several areas to allow corrections deputies to conduct their duties more efficiently and safely for themselves and inmates. Instruction deputies receive include defensive tactics, first aid, cultural diversity, security of inmates and much more. “I am extremely pleased with all of our graduates,” said Sheriff Donnellon. “They all worked extremely hard to complete their training.
