Three people were arrested early Wednesday after St. Clair County Sheriff Drug Task Force served a search warrant in the 2700 block of Robbins Court in Port Huron Township. Officials say a methamphetamine lab was found in the basement of the home. The lab was removed from the home by deputies wearing HazMat suits and respirators. The task force also seized the items used in the meth lab, about $800 of meth and $114 in cash. A 40-year-old Port Huron Township man, a 51-year-old Smiths Creek man and a 35-year-old Port Huron woman were taken into police custody. Arraignment is expected to take place Friday with charges including possession of a meth production laboratory within a school zone, possession of meth with intent to deliver, maintaining a drug house, frequenting a drug house, parole violation and as a habitual offender.
