
Shooting Linked to Rash Of Shootings

According to a report by the Associated Press – Police in a wide stretch of southeastern Michigan are looking for a man suspected in at least 24 shooting attacks, the latest of which sent a male driver to the hospital with a leg wound. The shooting occurred on I-96 in Fowlerville and it is the first that resulted in a reported injury. Authorities have released a sketch of a suspect but report no arrests or fresh leads as of Sunday. Reports say the Livingston County Sheriff stated the wounded man was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after being hit in the left hip by a bullet that came through the driver’s-side door. Shots were reported to have been fired into another car earlier, but its two occupants weren’t injured. Ten of the shootings happened in Wixom in Oakland County.
