Two Arrested In Search
October 29th, 2012

A search of a residence in the 1600 block of Griswold Thursday ended with the recovery of several vehicles and the seizure of marijuana.  The St. Clair County Sheriff-Port Huron Police Major Crimes Unit went to the home after receiving information that a motorcycle and handguns stolen during a home invasion on Bryce Road in Kenockee Township might be located there.  That information was gathered during a Sheriff’s Office investigation into that incident that occurred last week.   Members of the MCU conducted a consent search in the garage, where they located the stolen Harley Davidson.  Also recovered during the search was a dirt bike stolen from a home on Danielle Drive in Clyde Township in August, two four-wheelers that are believed to be stolen, approximately 10 pounds of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  The handguns were not found.  Two Port Huron men, ages 27 and 29 were arrested and lodged at the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center.  They are expected to be arraigned Sunday on charges including home invasion and possession of stolen property.
