
Accident Causes Lane Shut Down On Eastbound I-94

Eastbound I-94 was reduced to one lane for a time yesterday when rescue crews were called to the scene of an accident that involved a rolled over vehicle on eastbound Interstate 94 near the Range Road exit. Two vehicle were involved in the crash – One person needed to be freed from the vehicle. Firefighters from Port Huron and Kimball townships attended the scene. A man and a woman who were believed to be from Harbor Beach and were in the vehicle that rolled were transported to a local hospital. A Warren man driving the other vehicle that ended up in the median is expected to be cited for failing to yield. Reports say the man cut off the sports utility vehicle while trying to exit on Range Road, resulted in the roll over of the SUV.
