The City’s Utilities Division will be abandoning a sewer and making pavement repairs on Pine Grove Avenue at Erie Street on Thursday, November 8, 2012 beginning at 7:00 a.m. until Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 4:00 p.m.  As a result, southbound Pine Grove Avenue will be reduced to one lane from Prospect Place through the intersection of Erie Street. Northbound and southbound Erie Street will be closed between Lincoln Avenue and Pine Grove Avenue. The posted detour will be Pine Grove Avenue to Lincoln Avenue to Erie Street. In addition, the entrance to Port Huron Hospital will remain open.
