The 2013 Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball All-World Tour will return to the Blue Water Area for the first time since 1998.  The event is set for May 24 – 26, 2013. The YMCA of the Blue Water Area will host the World’s largest 3-on-3 Tournament beginning on Friday night with early registration. The tournament will officially tip-off on Saturday with Opening Ceremonies at 8:00 am. Courts will be set up in front of Y overlooking the St. Clair River, showcasing the Blue Water community. All courts will have adult supervision and include volunteer ‘Gus Busters’ to ensure every game is a positive experience for players and spectators.”  The Port Huron tournament is part of the Macker’s 40th Anniversary Tour. Several local players have earned their way into the Macker Hall of Fame. Including Rodney Glassnor, Betsy Wiersma and Don Zulauf.  The Macker is for everyone with male and female division, as well as a junior division for kids ages 10 and under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, and 17-18. Adult Divisions are 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40 and over. Teams may register on line at www.macker.com.
