Forbidden Broadway At Town Hall Today
December 10th, 2012

Port Huron Town Hall will feature Forbidden Broadway.  In 1982, Gerard Alessandrini, an unemployed actor sought a showcase for his talents.  Assembling some musical parodies of Broadway show he had written into a nightclub act, Forbidden Broadway was born!  It became New York’s longest running musical comedy revue. Winner of numerous awards, Forbidden Broadway provides a hilarious history of American musical theater.  The show has become known as a showcase for talented, but as yet unknown actors, many of whom have gone on to stardom elsewhere.  As long as Broadway and Hollywood exist, there will be a place for Forbidden Broadway’s wonderful fun!  The next Town Hall performances are scheduled for February 11, 2012, featuring actress Joan Collins, and March 11, with singer Ronnie Milsap.
