Christmas Gifts Offered At Port Huron Museum

If you are looking for some last minute home-made Christmas gifts and looking for something to do as Christmas break begins, the Port Huron Museum may have your answer.  The museum will offer instruction on Christmas-themed craft projects such as ornaments, cards and cookie plates, at 1 p.m., Dec. 22,.  The event is being held at the Carnegie Center, 1115 Sixth Street.  The cost for admission to the museum and materials for the crafts is $6.  “Getting ready for Christmas” is one of many seasonal events at the museum during holiday break. For more information,  visit www.phmuseum.org.  Also, if you are looking for that unique gift, stop at the Fort Gratio Light Station gift shop during the weekends, through December 16, there are trees to bid on through December 8, and unique gifts including n exclusive ornament of the “Fort Gratiot Light Station Tower”  It is hand-blown glass and cost is $20 per ornament.  The hours of operation are 11-5 Saturday and Sunday only through December 16.
