Kick off your 2013 fitness goals the right way.  Make a personal pledge to become “Fresh Air Fit” in the New Year. Join representatives from the St. Clair County Health Department, Blue Water YMCA, St. Clair County Parks and Recreation Commission and many more on “Shoe Year’s Day” at Columbus County Park.  A one-mile snowshoe hike or walk will be held at the park on January 1, 2013  from10:00am to 12:00pm. Columbus Park is located at 1670 Bauman Road. Snowshoes will be provided. Stay for refreshments. Health and fitness information will also be available. The walk will take place regardless of snow conditions. Events like this are taking place across Michigan and sponsored by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Michigan Recreation and Park Association (MRPA) and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM).
