There are still spots available for the PoHo Hot Cocoa 8k Run/5k walk coming up this Saturday, January 12! The race course  winds through the historic downtown of Port Huron and along the St. Clair River with a beautiful view of the Blue Water Bridge.  Participants in 8k Run/5k Walk will receive goody bags packed with a cozy Nike Element 1/2 Zip and other free swag as well as a post race chocolate party!  Participants in the 1 Mile Kids Chocolate Chase will receive a kids sized long sleeve T-shirt.  Kids event begins at 8:00 with the run and walk starting at 8:30.  Cost is $37 for the kids chocolate chase, $60 for the 8k run and the 5k walk by noon Friday, cost goes up $5 on the day of.  Applications can be found at EVERY Elite Feet Running Store.   The local address is 908 Military St. in Port Huron.  The Post race chocolate party will include music, door prizes and the awards.
