The Master Gardener Volunteer program welcomes you to come and learn about gardening, community service and working with other volunteers.  Introductory classes offered through the local MSU Extension Offices will cover the following:  Introduction & Volunteerism, Plant Science, Soil Science, Integrated Pest Management, Diagnostics, Lawns, Woody, Annuals & Flowers, Vegetables, Small Fruit, Tree Fruit, Indoor Plants, Household & Nuisance Pests and Water Quality.  Classes will be held Monday nights 5-9 PM, February 25 through June 3 at the Capac Lions Club, 315 West Meier Ave.  To register, visit:  http://events.anr.msu.edu/w2013capacmgp/  You will be required to complete an application and pay the $300 course fee online.  The registration deadline is February 15.  If you have any additional questions, please contact Lisa Sharrow (810) 329-3722 or bloomin@4wbi.com.
