Parents, Kids and College is an informative presentation reviewing the college application process that is targeted at all parents and students in grades 8-12 in St. Clair County.  The presentation takes place tonight from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Woods Missionary Church at 3240 Pine Grove Avenue in Port Huron.

Topics that will be covered include:

•           Creating a college-going culture

•           Searching for the right college

•           Applying to college

You will receive information about testing and the importance of ACT test scores, monthly calendars listing what you should be doing to prepare for college, financial aid and scholarships, and other basic things you should know about navigating the road to college.  Additionally, admissions representatives from several colleges will be on hand to answer questions.
