Tim Block, formerly of the Mt. Clemens based FunFest Productions will serve as organizer and even coordinator for the Blue Water Fest, coming up July 17through the 21^st.  Along with those already serving on the event committee,  Block says the focus currently is creating revenue and securing entertainment.  Kevin Cates was selected as Chairman for the committee,  Scott Babin as Vice-Chair,   Darlene Peterson was elected Treasurer and, Pat Kingsbury, Secretary. Last year’s fest drew in over 50-thousand in attendance…The annual event kicks off with a parade, includes a carnival, family night, boat night and leads up to the  Port Huron to Mackinac yacht race.
