It's Winter White Out In St. Clair

Chilly Fest takes place in Port Huron tonight and tomorrow, and St. Clair’s fourth annual Winter White Out continues through tomorrow.  The festival opened Wednesday evening with competition for the title, 2013 St. Clair Poet Laureate and 2013 Bootlegger Balladeer at La Croix’s Riverside PubThe Bootlegger’s Ball was held  Thursday evening.  A speakeasy from St. Clair’s Prohibition Period will be recreated in downtown St. Clair.  Today, Clinton Avenue was down , so the street could be converted into a Winter Wonderland.  From 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm people are allowed to leave the restaurants on Clinton Ave. with their beverages.Special Winter White Out burritos will be served Friday and Saturday along with live bands at the Winter White Out restaurants.  Saturday morning St. Clair competes for the title “Snowman Making Champion of the Free World”.  At noon tomorrow the Family Fun Games on Clinton Ave. open and the Riverview Plaza’s Frosty Carnival starts.
