The Blue Water Middle College Academy is having an open house for prospective students and their parents from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 2. The open house is at the middle college offices in St. Clair County Community College’s Acheson Applied Technology Center, at Glenwood and Stone streets. Those attending can learn more about the school from middle college staff and students. The middle college is partners with a number of county high schools in offering a combination of high school and college classes that can lead to both a high school diploma and a free, two-year college degree.
