Community Service Awards Applications Now Available
February 8th, 2013

The Kiwanis Club of Port Huron is offering 2 Community Service Awards, open to seniors who go to either Port Huron High School or Port Huron Northern High School.  A recipient from each high school will receive $500 toward their college tuition costs.   Applicants for the awards will be judged on their input toward making our community better through activities and deeds, including community service and leadership opportunities throughout their high school years.  Although this is not an academic award, students are expected to have sound academic achievement.  Applicants need to fill out a one-page resume, which can be obtained at each high school (or the address below), and send it to the following by April 30th, 2013:

                             John Campau
                             Kiwanis Club of Port Huron
                             4790 24th Ave.
                             Fort Gratiot, MI  48059

The winners will be selected by the Kiwanis Community Service Award Committee and notified.  They will be honored at a Kiwanis lunch meeting.  Award recipients will receive a Certificate of Community Service, the $500 cash award and have their name inscribed on a plaque that will be displayed at their school.    For more information call John @ 810-985-3456.
