St. Clair County RESA has announced a number of workshops designed for parents and childcare providers of children ages 0-18 as part of “Parent University” on Saturday, March 2. The event starts at 9 a.m. on the campus of the St. Clair County Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA). Breakout sessions will be at 9 and 10:15 a.m. and 12:30 and 1:45 p.m. Session topics include anger management, parent-child communication, preparing your child for kindergarten, raising resilient kids, and getting children to eat healthier. “Parent University” will be in the RESA’s Technical Education Center (TEC), 499 Range Road, Marysville. The cost of the program is $13.50 a person, which includes a continental breakfast, and lunch. The registration deadline is Friday, February 22nd.
