The March Of Dimes Jail And Bail Co-Chairpersons, Sheriff Tim Donnellon, Don McIntyre and Tom Bligh announced that $ 143,600 was raised at the event on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Masonic Center in Port Huron. THEY CELEBRATED THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE MARCH OF DIMES THIS YEAR. ONE OF THE EVENT DAY HIGHLIGHTS WAS THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE “MOST WANTED PRISONERS”, ALICE AND ED RIEVES FROM KIMBALL TOWNSHIP. Funds raised from the event will benefit the March of Dimes mission which is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. This mission is accomplished through programs of research, advocacy, community service, and education.
