Katie Volpe

St. Clair County Community Mental Health named Katie Volpe as its most recent Outstanding Employee of the Month. Volpe was nominated for her active facilitator role in the Survivors of Suicide Support Group, sponsored by the SCC Community Services Coordinating Body, and supported by CMH. In addition to facilitating monthly meetings, Volpe has been willing to travel out state for additional training and is always open to new ideas to improve what is offered to the group. She sees the need in the community that this group meets and remains committed to helping in any way she can.  Nomination guidelines recognize an employee for going “Above and Beyond” their normal job scope such as providing service excellence within a team or with the persons we serve.
