90th Anniversary At SC4 to Include Chalk Art Contest
February 26th, 2013
In celebration of St. Clair County Community College’s 90th anniversary, the college is hosting a chalk art contest. All high school students in St. Clair County are eligible to participate in the contest that calls for a 3-D drawing that depicts SC4’s accomplishments through its 90-year history. Students are asked to submit proposals on an 8½ x 11 inch white sheet of paper in full color by March 7. The proposals may be hand or digitally drawn. From those proposals, 12 students will be selected to draw their designs on SC4’s Greenway from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on July 18. The public will then judge the drawings, with a $100 prize awarded to the first-place winner, $75 to second-place, and $50 to third place. If you would like further information, or to apply, visit www.sc4/90th, or call (810) 987-5709.
