Downtown Port Huron is Going Green for St. Patrick’s Day with a Parade and Pub Crawl! As the Port Huron St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Pub Crawl grow in size and enthusiasm, the holiday festivities are growing as well. Thirty banners announcing the pub crawl and parade will hang from the light posts on Huron Avenue and Military Street, and eight lighted shamrocks will set the streets aglow. Also, look for the countdown to Pub Crawl on the digital billboard located on Pine Grove Avenue. The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Pub Crawl will take place Saturday, March 16, 2013. The parade will begin at 12:00 p.m. The pub crawl will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at participating pubs. Wristbands are on sale for $10.00 now or $15.00 the day of and can be purchased at the Blue Water Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, or at participating pubs. The wristbands will allow crawlers to board the party buses which will follow a continuous loop to Port Huron bars all afternoon and evening. The official Port Huron Pub Crawl 2013 t-shirt is available for purchase at the Blue Water Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. Green hats, wigs, feathered boas, necklaces and more are also on sale.
