Woman of the Year awards will honor women who reside in the Blue Water Area of  Michigan who demonstrate excellence and achievement in personal and/or professional endeavors. (Award winners must live in St. Clair County, Michigan)  Nominations are being accepted through March 15.  The public is being asked to nominate women who demonstrate excellence and achievement in one or more of the following areas:

–Volunteerism

–Mentoring other women

–Professional achievement

–Blue Water Young Woman of the Year (21 and under)  A nomination form may be found at  www.BlueWaterWoman.com.   A distinguished panel of impartial female judges from the Upper Peninsula has been asked to serve as an external, nonresidential award selection committee. Those selected for awards will be featured in a story in the Summer 2013 issue of the magazine.  All will be honored at a public reception (open to men and women) on Saturday, April 27, 2013.

 Deadline for Submissions:

U.S. Postal submissions MUST be received by Friday, March 15, 2013.

 Who Can Nominate & Attend Reception: 

Nominators can be either male or female and can nominate as many deserving women as they wish. Both men and women will be invited and encouraged to attend the reception honoring the award-winning women.
