
Arrest In Stabbing Case

The Port Huron Police Department has arrested a 19 year old Port Huron resident in connection with a
stabbing that occurred on December 11, 2011 around 11:50pm in the area of 11th and Union. The victim reported that he was transporting the suspect around town in a vehicle when an argument began over drugs. The two men exited the vehicle and the suspect attacked the victim, stabbing him 16 times. The suspect further assaulted the victim by kicking him as the victim fell to the ground. The suspect then fled the area. The victim
was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His condition is not disclosed at this time. The investigation was
turned over to the joint Port Huron Police Department/St. Clair County Sheriff Department Major Crimes Unit who located the suspect shortly before noon yesterday in the area of 26th and Manuel. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. Arraignment on charges of Assault with Intent to Murder is expected on Tuesday, December 13,
2011.
