Members of the Port Huron Board of Education approved budget policy changes 7-0.  Currently the budget is amended three times during the months of November, February and June  after the preliminary budget is approved.  The policy change that was approved will eliminate the February second-quarter amendment and move the first-quarter amendment from November to December.   Also approved was a bid from Dew-El Corporation of Holland  for cafeteria tables for Indian Woods Elementary School at a cost of just under $35,000 and will be paid for from the food services capital outlay replacement fund.
