
Couple In Home Invasions Arraigned

The Fort Gratiot couple arrested Friday night on home invasion charges have been arraigned in Port Huron’s 72nd District Court. 50 year old Bryan Thibodeau and 42 year old Lisa Thibodeau face multiple charges following their Sunday arraignment. Bryan Thibodeau is charged with second degree home invasion, two counts of conspiracy to commit second degree home invasion, attempted second degree home invasion, possession of a weapon by a felon, receiving and concealing a firearm and felony firearm. Lisa Thibodeau is charged with second degree home invasion and conspiracy to commit second degree home invasion. The pair were arrested following a lengthy investigation involving the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office/Port Huron Police Major Crimes Unit, both departments detective bureaus, the St. Clair County Drug Task Force and the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office. During the investigation, they were observed breaking into a home on Manchester Drive in Kimball Township and were arrested a short time later. After their arrest, two search warrants were executed and suspected stolen property from other home invasions was recovered. Both will next appear in court for a preliminary exam before Judge John Monaghan on January 31st at 9:30. Investigation involving several other home invasions continues.
