February 15th, 2012

Scott Adkins, current superintendent of St. Clair is moving on to become the city manager of the city of Roseville in just a couple weeks.  The Roseville City Council voted 7-0 at last night’s meeting to make the hire.  The contract will run for one year, beginning March 7th – Adkins will replace Roseville City Manager Steve Truman who has held the position for seven years and worked for the city for over thirty.   Adkins is under contract to the city of St. Clair until mid-2013, and according to St. Clair Mayor Bill Cedar, a letter of resignation had not been submitted as of yesterday.   It is reported that Adkins also interviewed with Algonac  in January after City Manager Karl Tomion announced he would be retiring mid-March.
