The Blue Water Reading Council (BWRC) will present Cyd Moore: Create with Confidence! on March 22 at the China Lite restaurant in Marysville.  Dinner will begin at 5 p.m. Moore will speak at 6 p.m. Moore is the illustrator of such children’s books as the I Love You Stinky Face and Willow series. She will speak about her career at the event.  The cost of the event is $25. The fee and a completed registration form are due by March 20. The cost includes dinner.  Moore will also be the guest speaker at the 15^th annual Young Author’s Conference on March 24 at the Technical Education Center on the campus of the St. Clair County Regional Educational Service Agency. Moore will meet with students grades 1 through 6 to review books they have written and discuss the writing process.  The Blue Water Reading Council is an organization of educators and other community members dedicated to promoting literacy in the area.
