Registration for St. Clair County Community College’s 10th annual Free College Day began online yesterday and begins today via phone and fax.  The event will offer more than 175 classes Saturday, April 14, on the college’s Port Huron campus. Topics include arts and crafts, computers, history, recreation and science.  In honor of the event’s 10th anniversary, SC4 is bringing back popular Free College Day classes from throughout the past decade. In addition, this year’s event will have the most classes in its history.  Presenters include SC4 professors and staff and local residents who will volunteer their time to share their expertise with the community. The day will include lunch breaks and drop-in activities.  Last year, Free College Day saw nearly 1,200 people participate.  A complete schedule of classes and online registration is available at www.sc4.edu/freecollege. Registration beginning Monday, March 26, is available by fax at (810) 989-5752 and by phone at (810) 989-5822 during normal business hours. Registration deadline is Tuesday, April 10. Classes fill fast, so early online registration is recommended.
