Some 300 to 400  DTE Energy customers in New Baltimore and Ira Township were without power Saturday after an equipment problem.  The outage occurred about  9 a.m. according to DTE Energy spokesman John Austerberry. Most customers affected saw power restored by Saturday afternoon, according to the company’s online outage map. Multiple transformers along Washington Street, between Green Street and 24 Mile Road in New Baltimore, failed about 7 a.m. reports say, and transformers were sparking and catching fire in Ira Township.
