Shortly after 6:00 p.m. yesterday, St. Clair County Sheriff officers were called to the scene of an accident in the 9100 block of Marine City Highway in Ira Township in which a vehicle had rolled a car over a steep embankment.  The incident occurred just hours  after the driver of the vehicle had been ticketed for speeding.   It is reported that the woman was driving east on Marine City Highway near Meldrum Road when she said she tried to pull over after she felt a front wheel shaking. The grade of the ditch was severe enough that the car rolled over. It is reported that the woman has a bad driving record and had admitted to officers on the scene that she wasn’t paying attention.   The driver of the vehicle was  transported to St. John’s River District Hospital for evaluation.
