April 22^nd marks the start of National Severe Weather Preparedness Week. FEMA and NOAA would like to remind everyone that you do not have to be powerless against the forces of nature.  Start by knowing your risk, take action by making your emergency plans and once you are prepared, encourage your friends and neighbors to be prepared too.  Then share your accomplishments on YouTube, Face book or Twitter.
