County Commissioner's Seat Sees Two Contenders
May 11th, 2012

This week WGRT talked with Karl Tomion concerning his decision to run for the seat being vacated by District 2 commissioner, Timothy Ward.  Tomion has served in a variety of positions in and around the county over the past several years and states he feels he can be of great service due to his experience.  Paul Richards owner of Shoreline Building Products told WGRT today that he intends to throw his hat in ring for that same seat, and run against Karl Tomion.  Richards stated that he has not agreed with some of the decisions the commissioners have made over the past few years, and now that his children are grown and he has the time available, he feels that become he doesn’t like what is going on, he should become involved.
