
U.S. Rep. Candice Miller Files For Re-election

U.S. Rep. Candice Miller, R-Harrison Township, has filed a petition for re-election to the state’s 10th Congressional District, according to a news release. Miller has served in the House of Representatives since 2002. The 10th Congressional District includes St. Clair, Sanilac, Huron and Lapeer counties and northern Macomb County. A portion of Tuscola County also is included after redistricting occurred this year. “… I look forward to the coming campaign and hearing from my constituents about the many challenges facing our nation and sharing with them my ideas on how we can move our nation forward by focusing on getting our economy moving again so the private sector can create the jobs we so desperately need, bringing fiscal sanity back to Washington and keeping our nation strong and secure,” Miller said in the news release.Miller serves on the Committee on Homeland Security and Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
